Artist’s Statement
Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, the region’s elements remain a constant inspiration in my artistic endeavours. I have had the privilege of experiencing all the places I paint firsthand, whether as a professional photographer or as a painter in more recent times. Revisiting familiar locations in a fresh perspective is always a joy, and discovering new vistas with my easel before me is even more exciting. My artistic creations are a product of my observations, memories, and emotions, often reflecting my current state of being.
